My name is Jordan Beck. I am an award-winning brand executive, creative director, and writer-producer. Whether it’s campaign concepting, brand marketing, or project management, I work on projects of any size, scope, and budget. I am adaptable as a team leader as well as a team player.
I have overseen the development of presentations, network launches, rebrands, series premieres, image campaigns, out-of-home advertising, and branded short-form content. I’ve worked with diverse genres including classic film, kids and family television, unscripted docuseries, rock ’n roll, MMA fights and developed campaigns for high-profile brands and personalities including Discovery Networks, Hasbro, Turner Classic Movies, MGM, The Transformers, Sammy Hagar, and Dan Rather.
Throughout my career I have endeavored to build emotional connections between audience and brand: whether its letting a family recognize themselves and their life experience in network branding, helping music fans recapture the rush of hearing their favorite bands and performers, or bringing to light the details in the work of beloved filmmakers - my goal is to bring the audience closer to what they love and build affinity to each brand.
I delve into the details and collaborate with both clients and creatives to build a consistent voice and look that authentically serves the person or brand and the stories they have to tell. The best way to do this has always been to engage the viewer through entertaining content tailored to the brand, property, and audience - whether its B2C or B2B.
Broadcast, cable, social, or streaming, the challenges remain the same: build awareness and generate return viewers. Sometimes we use creative to build brand affinity, sometimes for good ‘ol retail promo, and sometimes for event-driven inevitability. Under any circumstances, as creatives we have to be flexible enough to serve each project correctly. As Walt Whitman said: “The public is a thick-skinned beast. You have to keep whacking away at its hide to let it know you’re there.”
